Our founder Liz has 16 years experience both as a maths teacher and as head of maths in secondary schools. She has a passion for empowering others, in particular those who have low confidence in their own maths skills. Skills4Parents was born from helping her friends with their children’s maths homework and seeing in schools the effect that a parent’s own confidence in Maths can have on a child.
Using her years of experience, Liz tutors secondary age children who, for many reasons, have a lack of confidence with maths.
There are many options available, with packages designed to improve confidence or to structure GCSE revision.
All sessions can be tailored to the young person and their needs.
