"Liz is more than just a maths tutor - although she's amazing at making maths content understandable and accessible. She's actually more of a mentor and advocate for your child. She supported my eldest child when he was in his final GCSE year. He is a high achiever and she worked with him so that he could be assured of his grade 8 GCSE. He could easily have slipped down to a 6 or 7 and she was able to give him the finishing touches to enable him to maximise his potential.
My daughter started with Liz in year 9 and had no confidence in maths at all. She is neurodiverse with ADHD and the mainstream system was not working for her. Her self belief was non existent and she had all but given up. Liz provided gentle encouragement and stretch so that bit by bit her confidence and knowledge grew. Liz also provided invaluable support for us to get the right support from my daughters school.
